A sip of whisky - a taste of adventure.

Whisky is a distillate obtained from the fermentation of barley malt, wheat, rye or corn, which is aged in wooden barrels. Whisky originates from Scotland. It was the celts who began to distill whiskey, which was referred to as “Ulisge Beatha” in Gaelic, which roughly translates to “Water of Life”.  It was seen as the “Water of Life”as drink that was able to revive the dead and warm during the harsh winters. Whiskey then spread from Scotland to Ireland, then to everywhere else. As well as Scottish whiskey and Irish whiskey, Japanese whiskeys have also enjoy a strong reputation, along with American whiskeys and their bourbon produced in Kentucky.
